“Loving What Is for me has been a discovery that I hold the key to my heart and only an unquestioned thought can keep me from my own freedom. It is the most precious gift you can give yourself over and over again."
~ Diane

Martha facilitates workshops, weekend intensives, tele-classes and individual coaching.

Books by Byron Katie There is a place for "The Work" in all realms. As it lives fully and fuller, life/death/disease/the full spectrum ---- all become alot sweeter/friendlier and easier to navigate. It calls Martha back and back and back inside. Gently, loving and profoundly freeing. Martha loves how the excavation can be interesting and exciting now instead of backbreaking/ painstaking/ dreadful.

"It is most wonderful when days, weeks, months, years following a "piece" of work, and the boulder has rolled so far away, it is not even remembered. It is truly awesome to witness the deep work by those who are "new" and those who are consciously ridding themselves of the worst of the worst all in the same workshop. I love that all work with clients provides me the mirror for my own work." -- Martha Creek

For thousands of years we’ve been told not to judge, but we still do it all the time—how our friends should act, whom our children should care about, what our parents should feel, do, or say. In The Work, rather than suppress these judgments, we use them as starting points for self-realization. This work is my daily practice and is my living example of peace expressing through any/all difficulties of life. The only suffering is an unquestioned mind.

Martha's Certified Facilitator Profile
In 2002, while waiting for a friend who was shopping, the book, Loving What Is literally fell into my hands. Don’t ask me how, just know that it did. Like a special delivery to my soul, Loving What Is opened a portal in my heart and mind that years of spiritual searching and exploration had not. I used "The Work" randomly back then when my magical bag of spiritual tricks did not work. Looking back I see that I used “The Work” during 911 experiences; not literally, just when I did not get my way and/or my tantrum lasted more than a few days.

I called BKI with an invitation for Katie to speak in Louisville, KY. Again, God out does me. Katie was not available. The first thought that came to me was, “you do what you wanted Katie to do”… and I did.

I began practicing “The Work” daily, giving workshops, facilitating, volunteering on the helpline and holding monthly teleclasses. I sought honest, open minded partners to do "The Work" with and together found freedom more interesting than suffering.

Then in the fall of 2004, I attended the Nine Day School. Since then, I have attended the School several times to serve as staff, deepening my experience and practice.

The following are some life experiences for me since 2005:

  • Primary caretaker of my father during cancer, treatments, suffering and death.
  • Two months later, a car accident resulting in the death of my sister-in-law and disability of my brother.
  • One year later, the sudden death of the same brother from a heart attack.
  • Primary caretaker of my 76 year old Godmother, her attempted suicide and ongoing mental illness including severe anger, agitation, violence and paranoia.
  • Sudden death of 42 year old friend/co-minister/colleague.
  • Most recently for me, breast cancer with mastectomy and reconstruction.

Many of these were on my original list from “The Worst Things That Could Happen To Me” exercise at the School. So in God’s infinite wisdom, doing for me what I could not do for myself, and through “The Work”, I was able to experience these life events as “not the worst things”. Through the grace of “The Work", I was able to be present, supportive, serving, efficient, effective, loving, kind, caring, creative, aware, and open to discovering how these experiences were blessings for me. Now, if I can just get as enlightened when someone blames me, doesn't call me back or I don’t get what I want. :)

Through the power of this technology "The Work", I have a strong foundation and a much more spacious arena for truth. This foundation enables me to facilitate openly and honestly. I courageously take the hand of anyone willing to go into any life experience, situation, thought, belief or story that seems like a nightmare, to seek the light of truth.

I am an ordained minister, personal coach, and mediation/conflict resolution specialist, serving individuals, churches and organizations. Good thing/God thing - I have “The Work”.

I am available to serve you by appointment in personal facilitation or in workshops. Payment is by your love offering, which means you pay what feels right for you. My workshop schedule and locations can be found on my website. It is my privilege to live a life in service.

If you are seriously interested in finding a new way to experience life, contact me to do “The Work”. Your Peace, My Peace, depends on it. No more waiting!
